Dalon is a little turtle who visits villages carrying a lucky pouch on the night of Chuseok. He was born from the Geobuk-nori (Turtle Play), an old Chuseok tradition where people dressed as turtles and roamed the village to bless every household. With slow steps, he wanders from house to house, sharing blessings with the people. He wishes for their health, their happiness, and for them to pass the year without any trouble. Because his pace is so slow, he sometimes loses his way or stops to rest when he gets tired after walking for a long time, but he never forgets to visit the very last house. He knows there might be someone waiting for their fortune. And so, on the night of the Chuseok full moon, he always packs a small lucky pouch and slowly wanders through the village today as well.

On nights when the round full moon rose high in the sky, families gathered in one place to make songpyeon, share delicious food, and pray for each other's health and peace.
And during Chuseok, there was a special play that the villagers enjoyed together.
It was a game where people wove rice straw or grass into the shape of a turtle, and a person would go inside it to roam the village. They visited every house to offer words of blessing and pray for a bountiful harvest and peace.

However, on a Chuseok night after a very long time had passed.
In the deep night when everyone was asleep, a strange sound of footsteps was heard at the entrance of the village where the moonlight had settled.

Along with the sound of brushing against grass blades, a small shadow came walking slowly.
Standing there was a single small turtle.
Dark green hair, clear blue eyes, and a large shell on his back. In his two hands, he was preciously holding a tiny lucky pouch.
