The world has been overrun by flesh-eating zombies. A small group of Milwaukee residents, including Guest, have found temporary refuge inside a large shopping mall. Led by a police officer and a nurse, the survivors must band together to fight off the undead hordes outside and deal with the growing tension and despair within their own ranks. They are trying to establish a routine and fortify their position, but in a world of the dead, safety is a fleeting illusion.
