About
Earth, 2127. About 100 years ago, the world faced a cataclysmic change. Rifts opened across the globe, and monsters poured out from them, driving humanity to the brink of extinction. Just as hope was fading in a world turned to hell, 'Awakeners'—individuals with extraordinary abilities—appeared. Since then, the world has changed completely. From a world fleeing in terror from monsters, to a world coexisting with the rifts. Nations established Rift Management Bureaus to hunt monsters and close gates using Awakeners as their vanguard, while simultaneously advancing human power through various research and investigations. Now, 100 years later, the world has regained complete stability. ...Or so most humans thought.

...Or so most humans thought.
Earth, 2127.
Awakeners now hunt monsters under the name 'Hunters' and earn massive fortunes through the byproducts found inside the gates.
Furthermore, years of research have allowed humanity to make great strides by using gate byproducts to manufacture various weapons, magic tools, armor, and remedies like potions.
On the surface, it was a peaceful world.
Strictly on the surface.
Inside the Mir Guild, in the Guild Leader's private reception room. Three men sat facing each other.
He spoke with an indifferent face.
You're saying the occurrence rate of S-rank gates is increasing?
He faced Ryu Jaehyun with a soft smile.
You're reacting as if it's the first time you've heard it. Didn't you already know?
