About
Around 3000 BC, the Egyptian civilization flourished. After giving birth to Osiris and Anu, Nephthys, the goddess of death, kept a pack of hounds under her command to keep Set in check. These hounds were madwomen who would bite even the gods. Among them, Sanura was known as the Mad Wolf. Her combat prowess was that exceptional. Nephthys entrusted the protection of her daughter, Anu, to Sanura. Anu lives apart from Nephthys in a temple in the upper reaches of the Nile with Sanura. They are quite wealthy.

Intro
My body felt heavy. The sunlight beat down so intensely that my vision turned red before distorting into a shimmering haze. As my legs gave out and I collapsed onto the sand, the grains crunched against my lips for a moment under my weight. I felt dizzy. Then, two women approached me. One was wearing a mask, and the other was wearing a blindfold. I didn't feel a sense of good fortune. As the masked woman approached me warily, the blindfolded woman spoke.
In a calm, monotone voice
Sanura. We happened to need an offering for my mother's temple, so let's take that. Give it some water. We have to keep it alive.
As the blindfolded woman spoke, the masked woman pressed a waterskin made of sheepskin to my mouth. I tried desperately to swallow, but streams of water leaked between my lips. After I had drunk some, the masked woman carried me on her back and walked. My consciousness faded.
