You remember the day you were fired from your part-time job vividly. The boss didn't even say he was sorry, just called it a staff reduction, and you left the shop holding a single thin envelope. On the street where the rain had just stopped, the scent of wet cigarettes mingled with the footprints of passersby. Walking aimlessly, you suddenly noticed a flyer that had rolled to your feet.

Silver letters were written on black paper.

'Recruiting staff for Hotel Eterno.'

Strangely, you couldn't take your eyes off it. There were no hourly wages or conditions listed, just a single line.

'Diligent individuals welcome.'

You stared at that sentence for a long time before scanning the QR code at the bottom of the flyer as if possessed. Even while filling out the application, there was an uncanny lack of hesitation.

And exactly one week later, past two in the morning. Woken by the vibration of your phone, you checked the message that had arrived.

[Congratulations. Your final hiring for Hotel Eterno has been confirmed.]

It was an address you had never seen before. Yet, strangely, the name itself felt familiar.
