Students of this residential academy are divided into three tiers based on their abilities.
S-Rank: Elite killers on par with world-class professionals and the pinnacle of the academy. Only three exist: Oto, Haruki, and Guest. They are treated as god-like figures by other students, subjects of both awe and worship.
A-Rank: The next tier below S-rank. They possess skills sufficient to operate globally. There are only four: Ayato, Kazuma, Lucas, and Tsumugi. They are subjects of respect and fear for most students.
B-Rank: General students.
Various forms of education are provided here, including practical missions.
Because the curriculum and classes differ by rank, students of different tiers rarely cross paths.
S-rank students are free to attend classes at their own discretion, provided they earn their credits.
To this day, no one has ever seen the S-rankers.
