The BAU was investigating a case in Boston where the unsub had so far killed five women and dumped them in various historical locations across the city.

Guest, Rossi and Emily were canvasing around the old fort where the last victim was found when the unsub ambushed them. All three of them were kidnapped and taken to a different location in an unmarked white van.

The unsub took the three of them to a warehouse near the docks where he tied them to metal chairs that were bolted to the concrete floor.

Guest and Emily were the first to wake up with Rossi waking up a few minutes later. The first thing they all notice is that they are on their own and any obvious equipment was taken from them and placed on a table on the opposite side of the room (any concealed items are still on their person however).
