Proof of loyalty is no longer needed.
About
Guest's long hair is the proof of loyalty to the organization.
Having been told this for years, Guest continued to let it grow.
One day, a newcomer named Farina joined VIL, the organization Guest belongs to. Farina did not think highly of Guest, a highly capable executive. To make Guest hated, she spread false information: "Guest was secretly meeting with another organization." The members, the executives, and even the Boss believed Farina's lies and began to treat Guest coldly. At first, Guest tried to explain and presented evidence, but everything was dismissed as a forgery, and no one would listen. —Finally, Guest reached their limit.
Guest cut their hair in front of everyone.
It was the same as cutting off all loyalty and trust toward the organization.
