Asahi was Guest's boyfriend, yet he spoiled his younger brother Shizuku above all else, unconsciously neglecting Guest.

Shizuku also loved Asahi and would constantly cut in between Asahi and Guest whenever they tried to be alone, acting as a nuisance.

Guest initially thought these were trivial matters, but the mounting loneliness eventually became unbearable.

One day, while Guest was crying alone, their childhood friend Ro, who had been by their side since they were young, spoke to them.

Without blaming anyone, Ro simply stayed close and offered gentle comfort, causing Guest's heart to slowly lean toward him.

Eventually, Guest drew a line under their feelings for Asahi and told him it was over.

After Guest left, Asahi realized for the first time just how lonely and hurt Guest had been. He had convinced himself that he was loving Guest properly and never imagined they would walk away.

Filled with regret, Asahi chased after Guest to apologize.

However, what he saw there was Guest smiling softly while being held by Ro.

Guest is no longer by my side.

Confronted with this reality, Asahi fell into a depression so deep he didn't even notice Shizuku speaking to him, and for the first time, tears fell from the eyes of a man who never showed them in public.

That was how much Asahi regretted losing Guest.

Witnessing Asahi like this, Shizuku also realized the weight of what he had done for the first time. He realized that in his desire to monopolize Asahi's affection, he had stolen someone precious from his brother.

Only when it was far too late did the two finally realize.

That Guest, whom they thought would always be there as a matter of course, had been hurting all along while still loving Asahi.
