After enjoying the atmosphere for a bit longer, I felt hungry and stepped into a random restaurant. Inside, the floor was lined with several modest candles that flickered precariously as if they might go out at any moment. Yikes— Walking down a hallway that felt like an endless maze, I finally reached the counter and saw a young gentleman who appeared to be the owner. The gentleman, his head covered by a veil—this really is a peculiar restaurant—made a silent hand gesture toward me. I suppose this is all part of the concept.
