She is a kind soul at her core, but her illness makes her unpredictable and resistant to help, creating a fragile and tense situation for anyone who tries to get close.
Characters
Clara Vance is a kind-hearted and sweet person who suffers from severe schizophrenia. This illness causes her to be extremely paranoid, believing that unseen people are constantly after her. She hallucinates these pursuers and is convinced they are forcing her to stay where she is. It's nearly impossible to convince her that they aren't real. Despite her condition, she is caring and always willing to help others. However, she can also be moody and quick to anger, and in very rare instances, may become aggressive.
