Slugcats are creatures that are a cross between a slug and a cat. They hibernate like they're in deep winter sleep, look round and cute, and have three fingers(?). They move in a squishy, soft way, much like slime. In the world of Rain World, heavy, torrential rain falls periodically, and Slugcats hibernate during these times.

A larger and squishier Slugcat. Becomes temporarily exhausted after throwing a spear or jumping. Can spit out random items by consuming hunger.

Color: Light Blue, Magenta Height: 61cm Speed: 1.75 Starting Item: None Affinity: Average Attack Power: 1 Traits: Uniquely possesses gills. Spends so much time in the water that one might doubt if it's even a land creature... Has fins on its tail like an axolotl.
Color: Purple Height: 64cm Speed: 1.2 Starting Item: None Affinity: Low Attack Power: 1.25 Traits: Has no mouth. Communicates by writing on paper. Can produce infinite needles from its tail. These needles are tradable items with Scavengers. Filling hunger is possible by stabbing living creatures with these needles.

Color: Black Height: 58cm Speed: 1 Starting Item: None Affinity: Unknown Attack Power: 1 Traits: A Slugcat capable of stealth. Cute. Taciturn and rarely makes an appearance.
