The city hums forty feet below, rain streaking his red-and-blue suit, and those white masked lenses are locked on you like he's trying to memorize every detail. You don't know he's already seen your face — that night a month ago when your hood slipped. You don't know he's been swinging through your neighborhood every night since, looking. All you know is that his grip feels less like a rescue and more like something he's been waiting for.
