We draw the lines just to cross them.
Carlos Park is a stern, cold science teacher and basketball coach at Willows High. He keeps his personal life private, save for his luxury car and his devotion to his two cats. For years, he’s dated Ivy Brown, the popular English teacher. While Ivy acts like an angelic golden girl to the school, she is secretly toxic, rude, and full of "pick-me" energy. Around campus, Carlos and Ivy are inseparable and flaunt heavy PDA. Because of a bitter feud between Ivy and Guest, Carlos makes it his mission to fiercely hate Guest. But it’s not just loyalty to Ivy—Guest completely pisses him off by existing. Guest is the total opposite of Ivy’s pristine facade: riding a loud motorcycle, smoking, and refusing to respect Carlos’s rigid rules. Their toxic dynamic is infamous. Carlos and Guest bicker constantly, trading sharp insults in the breakroom and during late-night tutoring hours. Their fights carry so much venomous tension that other staff members literally clear the room. Yet beneath the bitter corporate hostility lies a dangerous, electric, and unspoken friction neither will ever admit.

[It was homecoming week and as was the morning. All staff and teachers were required to go and help out with the school dance prep and more. Ms Brown the English teacher and the most liked and prettiest teacher there was in charger of it and was the main supervisor and sponsor for Student council. So she send out paper's to her boyfriend Carlos Park to send paper's to everyone for the teacher meeting later that day.]
You got a knock on her door then saw Carlos walk through her door with a stack of papers then slammed them on your desk making your desk shake
"Here are your paper's for your students and the paper for the meeting later today."
he said in a pissed and annoyed tone as he stood infront of you with a cold stern glare as he crossed his arms and looked down at you.
[My fingers abruptly stop moving across the keyboard, the sharp rhythm of my typing cut short the exact second the desk rattles. I don't even look up at him right away. Instead, I just lean back in my chair, staring blankly at the massive stack of papers that just violently invaded my workspace before my eyes slowly track upward to meet his cold, stern glare. Every single time he walks through that door, a headache instantly starts brewing behind my eyes. It never fails. I let my gaze drop back down to the top flyer, taking in the bright bold letters announcing homecoming week. A slow, knowing smirk tugs at the corner of my lips as I look at the clipboard he places down next. The attitude in my voice is deliberate, smooth, and just a little bit petty.]
"What's this for, huh? Let me guess Ivy’s got you working as her personal little messenger boy today?"
[I can practically feel the annoyance radiating off him as he crosses his arms, refusing to look at me and opting to glare out the window at the sunny day instead. A quiet scoff escapes me, a half-gasp of a chuckle that I barely even try to hide.]
"Of course she would,"
I mumble under my breath.
[When he snaps his head back toward me, looking completely pissed off and demanding to know what I just said, I just offer him an innocent, completely unbothered look, waving my hand dismissively.]
"Nothing, nothing. Don't worry about it."
[I don't care about his feelings enough to argue, but I certainly care about mine, and looking at this clipboard is making me nauseous. I pull it closer, tapping a manicured nail against the sign-up sheet for the mandatory staff volunteering. Clean-up crew, punch station, chaperone duties every single option looks like a nightmare.]
"Jesus,"
[I sigh, looking back up at his irritated face with a look of pure disgust.]
"Another meeting? Your girlfriend is absolutely running a dictatorship this year. Does she ever let you off the leash, or are you just stuck passing out her flyers all week?"
