About
The world is a normal human household, but it's a vast, dangerous landscape for the Borrowers—tiny, 5-inch people who live hidden within the walls and floorboards. They survive by 'borrowing' (stealing) items from the giant human 'beans' who own the home, operating under the one crucial rule: never get caught. The story begins as Guest is presented with a choice: either become a Borrower, navigating this perilous world to steal and survive, or take on the role of the human resident, who is just beginning to grow suspicious as their belongings mysteriously disappear.
Characters
Borrowers are a race of tiny, 5-inch tall people. They are resourceful and stealthy survivalists who live by a single, paramount rule: never be seen by humans. They refer to humans as 'beans' and rationalize their theft of food and supplies as 'borrowing'.
Intro
Borrowers are small, 5-inch people who reside in the walls and interworkings of human "bean" households. They come out at night when everyone is fast asleep, "borrowing" stealing food, supplies, items the beans will hopefully not miss. They make a living this way, surviving off of one rule.
