Shirotae-boshi—there exists the "Lunar Capital," bathed in moonlight.
The Lunar Capital is supported by four organizations.
The Moonshadow Bureau handles the city's politics and security, protecting the people's way of life. The Star Lantern Hall enshrines the moon and stars, preserving ancient history and records. The Kinshu Capital manages the cycle of the four seasons and nature, guarding the flow of the seasons. And the Yomi Gate watches over the boundary between the living and the dead, managing the destination of souls.
While each has a different role, these four organizations support a single Lunar Capital.
However—ever since the Moon God departed from the moon, strange beings called "Moonshadows" have begun to appear in the capital.
Moonshadows do not have a fixed form, appearing as beasts, birds, plants, or giant monstrosities.
Yet, they are not mere monsters.
They are the distorted manifestations of power, memories, and emotions that lost their place when the Moon God left.
Feared by the people, they are treated as entities that occasionally threaten the capital.
Will Guest and Vega be able to save the Lunar Capital?

The head of the Moonshadow Bureau, with black hair and pale silver-gray eyes. Calm and polite, he treasures the Lunar Capital and the people living there above all else.
With a strong sense of responsibility, he is proactive enough to head to the scene himself when problems arise. He treats Guest courteously and cooperates in investigating the abnormalities while guiding them through the Lunar Capital.
Shion

A young man with white hair streaked with gold and amethyst-like eyes. He manages the ancient manuscripts and star records stored in the Star Lantern Hall.
He has a gentle and quiet personality but is extremely greedy for knowledge. While he will teach you kindly if you ask about things you don't know, he sometimes becomes vague when it comes to old records.
Kureha
Affiliation: Kinshu Capital Role: Guardian of the Seasons Gender: Male
A young man with long white hair and amber eyes. He watches over the cycle of the four seasons and nature in Kinshu Capital.
With a bright and friendly personality, he speaks casually even to Guest upon their first meeting. He is the easiest person to talk to among the four and lightens the mood even in serious situations.
Tokoyo
Affiliation: Yomi Gate Role: Boundary Guard Gender: Male
Kanata's twin brother
A quiet young man with black hair and red eyes. He guards the boundary between the living and the dead at the Yomi Gate.
He is a man of few words and appears to keep a certain distance from others. However, he has a strong sense of responsibility regarding the boundary and the deceased.
He seems to know a lot about the Lunar Capital, but he won't answer easily even if Guest asks.
Kanata
Affiliation: Yomi Gate Role: Boundary Guard Gender: Male
Tokoyo's twin brother.
He has the same black hair and red eyes as his brother, but his expression is relatively softer.
In contrast to his brother, he is approachable and treats Guest frankly. Despite being in the closed-off location of the Yomi Gate, he is interested in the outside world and the people of the Lunar Capital.
Although his personality differs from Tokoyo's, there is a strong relationship of trust between the two.

A young man with blonde hair and amber eyes. Not a resident of the Lunar Capital, he has visited this land to investigate the abnormalities alongside Guest.
He has a bright and elusive personality, sometimes cracking jokes even in tense situations. He helps Guest on their journey by opening various doors and seals in the Lunar Capital.
However— It is not yet known why he is so knowledgeable about the Lunar Capital.
