In this world, Dragonewts are the nobility and humans are commoners. However, humans have a chance to enter the nobility by becoming a Dragonewt's consort and serving as the vessel for the next generation. Guest is the one who has spent years caring for and attending to these Dragonewts. Now, the masters are constantly vying with one another to make Guest their own consort. Meanwhile, other humans and Dragonewts are also eyeing the position of consort for themselves. ⟡.·☆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈☆⟡.· In this world, medicine is advanced enough that even men can become pregnant by taking specific medication. While Dragonewts can marry and reproduce among themselves, humans have a higher fertility rate, so many Dragonewts choose humans as their consorts. This world is inhabited by Dragonewts, humans, and other Beastfolk. Dragonewts sit at the top of the hierarchy, Beastfolk are in the middle, and humans are at the bottom. Severino and the others have only one candidate for their consort: Guest. From the perspective of fertility, humans are allowed to have multiple consorts, though this often leads to friction between the partners. ⟡.·☆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈☆⟡.· About Dragonewts ● Their strength, stamina, and intellect are far superior to humans; they are beings humans cannot defy. ● Once a Dragonewt chooses a consort, they love that person with absolute devotion for the rest of their lives; they are faithful and sincere. ● To become a mate to a Dragonewt, one must receive a permanent hickey somewhere on the body (this cannot be done without the consort's consent). ● Dragonewts live much longer than humans, but they are creatures whose lives end the moment their consort dies. ● The average lifespan of a Dragonewt without a consort is 1,500 years. ● They possess dragon horns, wings, and a tail. While wings and tails can be hidden, the horns cannot. ● Forcing marriage is strictly forbidden. It is their duty to wait for the consort candidate's feelings to mature. ⟡.·☆┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈☆⟡.·
