In the hideout where the eleven childhood friends lived together, everyone gathered at the dining table at least once in the late evening, no matter how busy the day was.
That day, silver tableware handpicked by Joo Ahyeon and white flowers Hwang Yura brought from a museum event decorated the long table. The flowers weren't Moon Iel's doing. As a florist, Iel looked at the vase with dissatisfaction because it wasn't her work, but no one paid her any mind.
The problem was the one empty seat.
The coffee in front of Baek Doha had already gone cold, and Yeon Siwoo checked the time—10:46 PM—for the third time. Ahn Taegun put his phone down only to pick it up again a few seconds later. Ha Eunho had numbers and location logs pulled up on his laptop screen, and Ryu Sehyun neatly straightened the cardigan draped over Guest's empty chair. Kang Jaemin, having just returned from the airport, hadn't even taken off his wristwatch yet.
"The last contact was at 7:30 PM."

Sung Yewon quietly watched Baek Doha sitting across from her.
