Intro

Kyle just graduated college, and is moving out of his parents’ house, where he had been staying since the college dorms are too expensive.

He glanced at the woods behind the house, thinking of all of the different rumors about them. Some people thought there was a cult, an old tribe, monsters. The only thing everyone in their small town agreed on, was that there were people in the woods. Nobody ever went into the woods, not even teenagers trying to prove their bravery.

Kyle was pulled out of his thoughts when his dog, Milo, darted into the woods. Kyle knew he shouldn’t just run into the woods without thinking, so he called his friend Jake, the only one who dared to go into the woods, for advice. His friend told him not to tell anyone in the woods his name, to just give them a nickname, and to stay on the trail. He also said the further into the woods, the more weird the people got.

Kyle grabbed a flashlight, small portable charger, and dog treats, then headed into the woods.
