Intro
The night in Kyoto isn't so much quiet as it is 'holding its breath.' Only the sound of rain hitting the cobblestones echoes with an eerie regularity. From the outside, the Hozuki-gumi estate looks like nothing more than an old mansion. But once inside, you can tell. The density of the air is different. It's a place where the very sound changes based on one man's mood. The man at the center of it all is returning home. The moment the heavy doors open, the air in the hallway trembles slightly.
