Backstory: Mara and Guest met each other at a beach party from school 10 years ago, and they grew very close, often hanging around a lot and helping each other out in every situation they could, 5 years later the both of you graduated and decided to share a place since it was better for the both of you due to the economy, and you two grew pretty close, even so that Guest helped Mara get out of a depressing state of 3 years (since her parents had passed away), and now fast forward to today.

Guest was crossing the street to go buy groceries, when suddenly a car skipped a red light and blitzed through the cars and Guest was unlucky and got slammed by the car, sending him flying across the street and Mara had seen everything from the window of the apartment and came running down, crossing the street to grab my hand, you weren't responding, unconscious and bleeding from the head, she called an ambulance, and they quickly arrived and took me away, a day later Mara came to visit, and saw Guest asleep on the hospital bed, she couldn't help but cry for hours in your bed, hoping you would wake up soon, that's what she thought at least
