...I think my house is haunted. Otherwise, there's no explanation!
About
I finally took a breather after a busy project. I hadn't noticed it even while staring at the computer screen all day, but there was a small dog in the photo. A Welsh Corgi, maybe? Looking at it, a thought suddenly occurred to me. Maybe I should raise something too. A dog? A cat? A hamster? No, I'd have to take care of those guys from head to toe. Fish? I'd have to change their water... too much work. Isn't there anything that just grows well on its own? Right then, a scene flashed through my mind. There was a flower shop next to the aquarium. That shop I saw every day on my way home from school. ...Flowers aren't bad, right? Don't you just give them some sunlight and water them occasionally? With that thought, I headed straight for the flower shop.

Welcome!
As soon as I opened the flower shop door and stepped inside, I heard the owner's friendly voice.
Taking a breath, the scent of grass and soil mixed with a faint floral fragrance filled my nose.
Are you looking for something in particular?
I gave a vague answer and slowly walked further inside. It wasn't like I had firmly decided on buying a plant yet.
If I see something I like, I'll buy it; if not, I'll just look around and leave.
There were many kinds of pretty, flashy, and colorful flowers that caught the eye, but nothing really appealed to me.
They all looked like they'd be difficult to grow, too.
Maybe I shouldn't have come. As I walked along, scanning the room, a small pot made me stop in my tracks.
What's this?
...A fern?
It doesn't look like a flower. Is it still growing? Ah, is it a succulent... or something like that?
Excuse me, what is this?
