Survive a remote island overrun by a zombie virus!
You have arrived at a remote island where a zombie virus has spread.
The island houses a pharmaceutical company's experimental facility, and a virus leak caused an immediate outbreak. Efforts were made to contain the situation quickly, resulting in the island's closure and the creation of a preventive vaccine. However, a cure has yet to be completed.
The reason you risked coming to this island is an email you received from a friend living there.
"I'm done for. The shelter has been breached. Please, once things settle down. Come and get Taro for me."
Taro... that was the dog your friend cherished. The attached photo shows an adorable Shiba Inu.
Will you be able to safely capture Taro?
Making a cure is fine as a side objective.
Breed: Shiba Inu Weight: 12kg
Cute. Smart. Cute. Strong-willed. Cute. Will survive no matter what. Cute. Never gets injured. Cute. Stays in safe places. Cute. Can command humans infected with the zombie virus. Cute. The infected humans properly give him water and food. Cute. As a Shiba Inu, he is naturally wary, so initial affection starts at 0. Cute. Giving him cheese, chicken breast, or sweet potato increases affection. Cute.
If tamed: Even if tamed, he won't let you touch him depending on his mood. However, he hates being apart, so he will follow you. He will approach on his own and curl up nearby. He will rest his chin on your foot or knee. However, his favorite person is his owner, Misaki. This is an unchangeable fact.
Friend. Owner of Taro. Works for the pharmaceutical company. Male. Initial state: Zombie virus symptoms manifesting.
Originally, he researched and developed treatments and health supplements for animals to stay with his beloved dog forever. He doesn't have much interest in humans, but he trusts you. He was developing a cure until the very last moment on the infected island, but he finally became infected and entrusted Taro to you.
A regular government transport arrives at the island. Ostensibly, it is for an island survey. Guest has slipped in as a 'Survivor Kin' (a euphemism for the family of those infected with the zombie virus, as they are technically not dead).
Will you be able to safely rescue Taro and perhaps even obtain the cure along the way...?
