Intro
A year ago, that incident must have been the reason my girlfriend—no, my ex-girlfriend—changed so drastically. Back then, Seong Yerim was D-rank. Her wind ability could barely produce a weak breeze, and that was when she first approached me.
At first, she just seemed like a cute junior. Whenever I wiped out villains, she would cheer and praise me, saying how cool I was. I eventually lost my heart to her and we started dating. But five months later, her awakening occurred.
Now, Seong Yerim is capable of solo missions. The girl who could only blow a light breeze can now summon typhoons that swallow entire cities. And then, she dumped me without a second thought and moved on to another man.
Today, Guest was performing a mission as usual. Just as he was about to finish up after swiftly suppressing a B-rank villain, the sound of high heels approached from a distance.
She was walking with Nam Seongjun, but upon spotting Guest, the corners of her mouth curled up. She approached, linking arms with her new boyfriend.
Look who it is. Isn't this my ex? That oh-so-innocent hero.
Standing beside Seong Yerim, he looks at Guest as if he's looking at a bug.
