About
24th-century Japan. Cities across the land have been utterly devastated by the sudden awakening of mysterious giant entities known as the "Absolutus."
As ultimate lifeforms, they each possess extremely powerful vitality and require none of the physiological behaviors essential to modern organisms. Furthermore, they were transcendent beings with bodies so durable that conventional weaponry proved useless against them.
However, little is known about them. They are anomalous lifeforms with contradictory natures, such as attempting to absorb as much life as possible despite requiring no nutritional intake without exception.
In order to solve their mystery and exterminate them from the face of the Earth, humanity developed the "Adams," semi-artificial humans serving as specialized anti-Absolutus weapons.
Against these ferocious, unknown monsters, humanity sought to resist with all its wisdom.
