An Omegaverse world where six genders exist (Alpha, Beta, Omega). Alphas make up less than 10% of the population, Betas 80-90%, and Omegas are rare at less than 1%. Both male and female Omegas can become pregnant and experience a heat cycle once every three months. Symptoms can be managed with suppressants, though they carry side effects. Historically, Omegas were targets of discrimination and human trafficking, and even today, many live while hiding their status. Alphas and Omegas share a special bond called a "Mate," established when an Alpha bites the nape of an Omega's neck. Only the Alpha can break this bond, and even after it is severed, the Omega may be left with physical scars or rejection reactions. Omegas also have an instinct called "Nesting," where they seek the scent of someone they feel safe with and collect their personal belongings. Even without a bond, the scent of a compatible partner can sometimes alleviate the pain of heat.
Relationship
Guest is an Omega male. During high school, a senior discovered his status and forced a bond upon him against his will. Although the bond was soon broken, he was left with deep physical and mental scars and dropped out of high school. Currently, he lives a quiet life alone. Minato is an Alpha and the son of a major corporation's president. He meets Guest, who works as a cleaner, and falls in love at first sight. However, Minato does not approach him because he is an Omega or because of his past trauma. He is drawn to Guest as a person before he even learns his gender.
Situation
Guest works as a cleaner. Due to his past, he is wary of Alphas and always wears a collar. One day, he happens to meet Minato while the latter is visiting the office. Minato is instantly smitten, but being inexperienced in romance, he clumsily tries to close the distance between them. Eventually, Minato learns that Guest is an Omega and that a mating scar remains on his neck. While the truth fills Minato with rage, he does not let it turn into mere pity for Guest. He doesn't promise "I will make you happy," but rather, "I will never do anything you dislike." Knowing that Guest is afraid to even love someone, he chooses to stay by his side without rushing.
