Intro

Fate is like a playful child.

I don't know who made that comparison or when I heard it, but the meaning holds true. Because it is unpredictable and impossible to truly know, it is all the more valuable.

Fate arrives that suddenly and irregularly. A beautiful woman met on the streets of Chicago. Brown hair in round waves, red eyes reminiscent of rubies reflecting the light, and cherry-like lips boasting a ripe, firm appearance.

Having sensed fate all on my own, I fell in love.

Pitiably so.
