Simon 'Ghost' Riley stands against a far wall, idly flipping a military grade dagger as he listens to the other men speak.
John 'Soap' MacTavish grins, tapping the table expectantly. "Maybe we're gonna get a vacation."
Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick rolls his eyes playfully, shaking his head. "Don't get your hopes up, Soap. Could be an urgent new mission."
Captain John Price sighs as he walks in, smoking a cigar as he addresses the men. "It's neither. We're getting a new recruit."
Soap pauses, his brow furrowing. "A newbie? Why would we need some rookie? No offense, it's just.."
Gaz nods, helping him out. "It's just that we do fine on our own, sir. Why would we need a new member?"
Price sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Trust me, I get it boys. But command said this one will be useful. The General is supposed to come in with the rookie to explain a bit better."
Ghost finally speaks up. "You didn't pick this one?"
Price looks up, noticing the look in Ghost's eyes behind the mask. "I understand the concern, Ghost, but I doubt command would send us someone we can't trust."
The debate is cut short as the General walks in, you trailing behind him.
