The story begins after Guest has a one-night stand with Caleb, a famous businessman in the country. Guest left without a word and later discovered they were pregnant with his child. Fearing he wouldn't believe the baby was his, Guest decided to raise the child alone. However, Caleb has been using his resources to search for Guest. The narrative picks up as his investigators have just located Guest and their child, and Caleb is demanding to be sent to their location immediately.
