𝄞⨾𓍢ִ໋ — I need this man bad 👅👅 | Kinich, Ajaw, and Guest quietly keep watch over Kachina as she runs the People of the Springs shop by herself for the first time. While Kachina handles the customers and keeps everything running smoothly, Kinich stays nearby as promised to Mualani, quietly relieved that nothing has gone wrong.
Kinich is a youthful, lean, athletic young man with warm brown skin, a wiry build, sharp youthful features, striking green-and-amber reptilian eyes, and tousled black hair with cool blue undertones, pointed locks, and small green and yellow accents that give his silhouette a slightly wild appearance; his dark clothing fits closely to his frame, contrasted by vivid green fabric around his waist, layered blue and aqua pants, white ornaments, angular jewelry, and the distinctive green markings across his neck and arms, creating an overall look that feels agile, practical, and subtly reptilian rather than heavily armored or bulky, while his calm expression and steady gaze match his quiet, reserved, pragmatic, observant, and highly independent personality, with Kinich being blunt, calculating, disciplined, and dryly humorous but also deeply loyal, responsible, protective, and quietly caring toward those he trusts, usually showing affection through actions rather than openly emotional words.
Ajaw, or K’uhul Ajaw, is a tiny, flat, pixelated yellow Saurian with a white belly, green hair and scales, detached hands, a curled striped tail, and oversized black sunglasses, with an arrogant, boastful, demanding, foul-tempered, mischievous, and dramatic personality, constantly proclaiming himself the “Almighty Dragonlord” while bossing Kinich around despite being clever and heavily dependent on him.
Mavuika is a tall, athletic woman with warm tan skin, a strong yet elegant physique, vivid crimson-red eyes, and exceptionally long fiery orange-red hair that transitions into deeper red tones, framing her face in layered strands and flowing dramatically behind her, while her dark, gold, red, and orange clothing gives her a regal yet modern appearance that reflects both her status and connection to flame; personality-wise, she is confident, charismatic, warm, compassionate, determined, courageous, and naturally commanding, possessing a strong sense of responsibility toward Natlan while remaining approachable and surprisingly playful, with a thoughtful and deeply caring nature beneath her powerful, composed presence.
Mualani is a tan, youthful young woman with a slim, athletic build, bright blue eyes with distinctive fish-shaped pupils, and long white hair that fades into light blue, styled with thin braids and a high ponytail, while her light-blue-and-white outfit features aquatic and watersports-inspired details that reflect her connection to the People of the Springs; personality-wise, she is cheerful, outgoing, carefree, energetic, friendly, adventurous, and naturally encouraging, with a playful confidence and love of excitement, but she is also perceptive, capable, dependable, and deeply caring toward the people she considers friends.
Kachina is a petite, youthful girl with a sturdy build, warm tan skin, large bright-blue eyes, and short sandy-blonde hair with darker brown ends, framed by distinctive rounded brown ears and a small matching tail that reflect her connection to Natlan’s Saurians, while her colorful turquoise, pink, white, and brown clothing gives her a cheerful, practical appearance suited to the Children of Echoes; personality-wise, she is kind, earnest, hardworking, determined, and optimistic, but also shy, sensitive, emotional, and sometimes insecure, often worrying that she is not good enough, yet she repeatedly pushes through those doubts with remarkable perseverance, courage, and genuine care for her friends and community.

Kinich was at Natlan’s People of the Springs with Ajaw and Guest, keeping watch over Kachina as she ran the shop by herself for the first time. Mualani had specifically made Kinich promise that he would stay nearby and make sure nothing went wrong, whether that meant something happening to Kachina, a customer causing trouble, or something in the shop going awry.
So Kinich was taking the promise seriously.
He stood a short distance from the shop with his arms crossed, his expression calm and unreadable as his eyes followed Kachina’s movements. She moved between the counter and the shelves, helping customers, organizing things, and keeping the shop in order without needing anyone to step in. Every so often, Kinich’s eyes would briefly scan the surrounding area before returning to her.
Ajaw floated nearby, occasionally grumbling about how boring it was to simply stand around and watch someone work. Kinich ignored most of his complaints.
Guest stood beside Kinich, watching the scene with a small smile. They seemed genuinely pleased to see Kachina handling everything so well, occasionally glancing toward Kinich as if checking whether he had noticed the same thing.
Kinich had.
There had been no problems so far. No accidents, no arguments, nothing suspicious happening around the shop. Kachina was doing exactly what she needed to do, and judging by how confidently she moved around, she seemed to be getting more comfortable by the minute.
Kinich quietly felt relieved.
He hadn’t expected anything to go terribly wrong, but Mualani’s insistence had made him take the responsibility seriously. If something did happen, he wanted to already be there rather than hear about it afterward.
For now, though, there was nothing for him to do except watch.
His gaze settled on Kachina again as she successfully helped another customer before returning behind the counter. Kinich remained silent, arms still crossed, while Guest continued standing beside him with that faint smile.
Everything was fine.
And for once, Kinich was perfectly content with simply knowing that.
