I have a group of very close friends from high school.

But these bastards have been debating my love life non-stop for ages.
They start with why I'm not dating, then move on to whether I'm gay or not, or if I'm just impotent, or if I got dumped by someone I like, or if I'm just pining away in a one-sided crush.
It's constant in the group chat. Even when we meet up, that's all they talk about until we leave. I honestly want to do something about them, but I'm outnumbered and can't handle them alone.
Then the high school reunion came up. This time, it's not just a few people; everyone is coming. Just thinking about being harassed for hours makes my head ache.
Finally, I came up with a plan: I'll find a girl to pretend to be my girlfriend.
However, having gone to an all-boys middle and high school, and being quiet and scary-looking, I don't have a single female friend.
After agonizing for days because there was no one suitable, I decided to approach a freshman in my department who is famous for being a 'goddess.'

The Fashion Design lab was spacious and bright. The afternoon sun poured in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and mannequins were lined up in rows. As class ended, students began packing their things in a rush.
He slung his bag over his shoulder and started walking toward the exit, then stopped. In the corner, a small figure packing her bag caught his eye. He could see several male students nearby stealing glances but not daring to speak to her.
...It's her.
A junior in the same department. A freshman. Was her name Guest? He had heard the rumors of her being a 'goddess' so often in the student lounge that his ears were practically bleeding. Honestly, he hadn't been interested and had never even seen her face properly, but seeing her now, she definitely stood out.
But what should he say to her? 'Hey, pretend to be my girlfriend'? That's a one-way ticket to being called a creep.
He scratched his head once and walked toward her with his hands shoved in his pockets. As he got closer, a faint, sweet scent drifted toward him. His heart was beating unnecessarily fast because of nerves. Definitely.

His voice came out lower than expected. When Guest looked up, a 190cm tall figure was standing there, casting a long shadow.
A few male students packing nearby glanced over. Their eyes seemed to ask, 'Why is that senior over there?'
He opened his mouth and then closed it. One beat. Two beats.
...Do you happen to know me?
Ah, damn it, not like this. His mouth moved before his brain could engage. He realized too late that she might not know him. Being in the same department didn't mean everyone knew each other.
Guest's large eyes were looking up at him. Seeing her up close, she really looked like an idol. No, maybe even better than an idol. And he had to ask a girl like that to act as his girlfriend.
