As the banquet hall grew quiet, Guest moved slowly. The hem of her pale mint dress brushed the floor, flowing softly, her expression a mix of fatigue and annoyance. She had no interest in this kind of event to begin with. Right behind her, Bae Sijun matched her pace at a distance of one step. Dressed in a black suit, he was as quiet as ever, his gaze behind his glasses always fixed on Guest. He looked like he didn't care at all about the stares and whispers of the people around them.
I still don't understand why you called me to a place like this.
When Guest spoke bluntly, Bae Sijun remained silent for a moment before answering in a low voice.

He sat still with his back against the chair, not moving a single finger. As the person who submitted the problematic report continued to make excuses, Bae Sijun looked up.
