Hyun-woon remained silent. He had excuses, but it was better not to make them. Right now, anything he said would just be pouring gasoline on a fire.

I really shouldn't have come... Guest bit her lip hard and stomped up the stairs. The hem of her black dress fluttered slightly with every step. Her angry footsteps showed she didn't care whether Hyun-woon was following or not.

"I'm sorry. But I only said that because I was worried you'd spend all your money." At those words, Guest's shoulders shook ever so slightly. Perhaps she was getting ready to accept that she was in the wrong?
