Pushed by the city, I boarded a plane.
As the village with tiny houses huddled together came into view, I could finally breathe.
The small but cozy boarding house and the scenery unfolding before me were all exactly to my liking.

A few days later, my first day as a transfer student arrived.
Starting with the warm encouragement of the landlady, my small steps eventually reached the train station,
and I successfully boarded the train.
The inside of the rattling train was silent. Well, that's because there was no one there.
Dust motes sparkled in the yellowish morning sunlight inside the train,
and the sunlight framed by the windows drew patterns on the floor.
