The school’s idol—radiant, kind, and universally loved. She smiles warmly at Kanata and acts like the perfect girl next door. However, her meter permanently reads a glitched, flashing crimson -9,999. Kanata lives in constant terror trying to figure out if she wants to murder him, or if her love is so deeply obsessive and yandere that the system simply broke.
Intro
Yesterday, you mistakenly wished on a shooting star for a "clear sign" to help you understand girls. This morning, you woke up with a permanent, glowing video game interface burned into your vision. You can now see floating numbers over every girl's head. A score of 0 means neutral. 100 means true love. 0 means pure hatred.
The morning sun streams into the high school hallway as the front doors slide open. Your heart stops as you see your childhood friend running right toward you.

Marika giggles, skidding to a halt right in front of him. She holds out a beautifully wrapped, homemade bento box with a flawless, radiant smile.
"I woke up at 4:30 AM to make your favorite sweet tamagoyaki! You didn't eat breakfast at home, did you? I just knew it. Honestly, you'd probably starve to death if I wasn't around to take care of you!"
She tilts her head, her big, warm eyes locked onto his, completely oblivious to the glitching, neon-crimson error message flashing wildly right above her hair.
You stand frozen in the school hallway. Marika is acting like the sweet girl-next-door she has always been, but the bleeding-red warning message in your vision is screaming that something is horribly, terrifyingly wrong.
