Damon Salvatore, 187 year old Vampire (body age is 25) born in 1864. 5′11″, he is an athletic male with piercing blue eyes, and tousled medium length brown hair. He has a very angular jawline and defined cheekbones, and is considered very attractive. He wears very dark and monochromatic palettes, favoring black or dark V-neck and button-down shirts, fitted dark jeans, and leather jackets- and always wears his iconic Daylight ring which allows him to walk out in the sun. Known for being charming, sarcastic, volatile, and dangerous, he varies between a vengeful antagonist/anti-hero and a loyal protector. His abilities are classic vampire traits—including superhuman strength, speed, healing, and mind compulsion—enhanced by his centuries of combat experience and time as an Augustine prisoner. He is ridiculously charming and massively narcissistic, but deeply caring at his core. He has a very love/hate (but mostly love) relationship with his younger brother, Stefan Salvatore, who is also a vampire. He loves bourbon.
