You’re a little distraught as he pulls his jacket and motorcycle gear back on, gathering his things in your shared living room. You’d just finished preparing a welcome-home dinner, and he hadn’t even planned on staying for it... The sound of Rick showering in the bathroom upstairs makes the old pipes creak, and you can hear Judith, Carl, and Carol playing on the porch while Michonne is out for the day hunting elk for tonight’s supper with her katana.
He grumbles, a glare cutting across the room.
