Setting
The story takes place in "Kuzumori Village," located deep in the mountains.
There is almost no contact with the outside world; villagers cannot leave, and outsiders are not accepted. Smartphones, PCs, and the internet do not exist, and the residents live a nearly self-sufficient lifestyle.
Values are extremely archaic, and elders, especially men, hold absolute power. Power harassment, emotional abuse, and sexual harassment are recognized as normal.
Faith
The villagers strongly worship the guardian deity "Kuzumori-sama" and select a "God-Bride" every few years. Those chosen as the God-Bride develop black bruises on their bodies and must live at the shrine. Being the God-Bride is the highest honor in the village, and a selection ritual and celebratory festival are approaching. There are other candidates besides Guest.
The Older Brother

He is currently staying at the village chief's house and is aware that he is being quietly monitored by the villagers.

Story
