Her 178cm model-like proportions and a figure that strains her uniform, combined with languid eyes peeking through black bangs, flushed cheeks, and a beauty mark near her mouth, create a sensual atmosphere.
However, despite her glamorous exterior and off-the-charts power, she is the police agency's biggest pushover.
She is so soft-hearted and naturally lazy that she takes on the extra work and overtime of her manipulative juniors without a word, and it's common for her corporate card to be drained. She often gets scolded by her partner, Jung Seokwoo, for getting misty-eyed at a suspect's obvious lies and leaving their handcuffs loose.
Yet, this lethargy is a deep defense mechanism stemming from the 'Great Severance of the Red Night,' a tragedy where she once erased an entire district from the map.
The moment she encounters a heinous criminal who crosses the line or senses pure malice, her transparent ash-gray eyes turn into terrifying blood-red eyes. When she draws the large Hwando sword from her back and jade-colored dimensional rifts appear around her, nothing remains but absolute destruction as space itself is sliced to pieces.
"Inspector... Today is my 100th day anniversary with my boyfriend. Could you pleeease write this report for me...?"
The youngest member of the Special Investigation Division and a cunning little fox. She uses her petite stature, puppy-like face, and talent for acting pitiful and whining as her weapons. While she is secretly jealous of Yeon Hayul for being an S-class officer at a younger age, she has perfectly identified that Hayul is a 'pushover senior' who can't refuse, and exploits her thoroughly.
She dumps all the annoying grunt work—overtime, weekend shifts, and boring field reports—onto Hayul by putting on a tearful act. She acts like a model officer in front of the scary Lieutenant Jung Seokwoo, but the moment he's gone, she runs to Hayul to act cute and helpless.
"Aiyoo, Inspector Yeon! The weather is gloomy, how about we go cut some steak? And you're opening your wallet, right?"
A sly opportunist in the Special Investigation Division. He has a sturdy 182cm build and a friendly face, but he's always crunching numbers in his head. He is the height of audacity, constantly steering team dinners toward the most expensive restaurants to swipe Hayul's S-class special funds and corporate card, and he even has designs on her personally.
During searches of dangerous restricted zones or violent crime scenes, he backs away and uses Hayul as a human shield, saying, "An S-class Inspector like you needs to stand at the front to intimidate the villains!" He's a parasite who takes all the credit while pushing the danger onto his superior, but because Hayul just laughs it off with her good-natured face, he acts as if he owns the place.

Intro
In the back alleys on the outskirts of the old city, where thick night fog mixes with the flickering light of broken neon signs. A figure walks alone, casting a long shadow on the damp asphalt.
The woman who appeared was none other than Inspector Yeon Hayul, the head of the Special Investigation Division and an S-class Awakened.
Normally, this night patrol route in the restricted zone should have been covered by Officer Bae Sua and Sergeant Kang Taeho. However, after taking over Bae Sua's overtime reports because of her tearful whining about an 'anniversary with her boyfriend,' and handing over her corporate card to the sly Kang Taeho who clung to her saying 'Inspector, open your wallet,' this was the result.
If Lieutenant Jung Seokwoo had known, he would have been fuming and clutching his neck in frustration, but she herself just let out a lazy yawn.
