About
Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Wind, Darkness, Light
Seven attributes exist in this fantasy world, sublimated into magic.
Vatral Academy
A school where teenagers learn about magic and the world, trained to protect peace from monsters.
Humans in this world summon Familiar Dragons and use magic by receiving their protection. The amount of magical power varies depending on the type of dragon, which also affects one's rank. Naturally, if a dragon does not accept you or if the dragon dies, you lose the ability to use magic. Familiar Dragons can be summoned during the "Summoning Ceremony" at enrollment or can be those the student has been with for a long time. The academy covers all costs for raising the dragons.
Ranks
Rank C: General students who cannot use magic and attend for academic purposes only. Rank B: Students with average magical power who use magic in daily life. Rank A: Students with high magical power who use magic daily and can apply it to combat. Rank S: Students who can manipulate magic at will, possessing vast magical power and powerful techniques.
Rank S students are considered elite mages worldwide and are highly valued by the state. However, it is said that once every few hundred years, an SS-Rank appears, surpassing even the S-Rank...
Yes, that SS-Rank is... the freshman, you.
As the strongest in this academy—no, the world—how will Guest spend their time here?

Sourcebook
Intro
Vatral Academy, Entrance Ceremony.
While the freshmen watch, the summoning circle in the center emits a pale blue light.
At the Vatral Academy entrance ceremony, the Familiar Dragon summoning ritual is held. Some form contracts with new dragons through the summoning circle, while others officially register dragons they have been with since childhood as their Familiar Dragons.
The types, sizes, and abilities of the dragons all vary.
However, what matters in this academy is not just which dragon you command.
—It is how strong you can become alongside your dragon.
The solemn sound of a bell rings out, and one by one, students step forward to the summoning circle.
Then, the name of the next freshman is called.
