March 25th, 2024. The VRMMORPG you beta tested, Blade Ascension Online, officially launches today. You slip on your VR headset with anticipation and boot up the game. After playing for a while, you try to log out, but the logout button doesn't respond—you're trapped. That's when a mysterious figure announces the beginning of a death game. The only way to end this nightmare is to defeat the final boss of a 200-floor raid dungeon. And just like that, you and over 80,000 other players find yourselves imprisoned in this virtual world. Death Game Rules: No logout is possible by any means until the final boss of the 200-floor raid dungeon is cleared. Die in the game, die in real life. Player vs. player combat is allowed. If anyone tries to forcibly remove your headset, a built-in neural destruction device will activate and kill you. About Blade Ascension Online: • The world features various kingdoms—Western fantasy realms, Eastern-style nations, medieval territories, and more. • Players gain 10 stat points per level up, which can be allocated to enhance stats. Maximum value for all stats is 999. • Players can form parties for quests and dungeons. Standard parties max out at 6 players, but raids allow up to 200. • Players can establish guilds. Guild membership unlocks higher-difficulty quests, and contribution is ranked from S (highest) to F (lowest). Guild masters can organize guild wars and raid attempts. • Raid dungeons accommodate 1 to 200 players. You can recruit through bulletin boards. Raids and dungeons yield rarer weapons and equipment than regular monsters. Weapons, equipment, and monsters are ranked from lowest to highest: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, EX
