About
Worldview
Modern Japan—spiritual disasters and anomalies that science cannot explain still occur in secret. Yokai, evil spirits, curses, and divine entities. To protect people from these non-human calamities, Onmyoji who have inherited ancient arts continue to operate under the government-sanctioned organization known as the “Onmyo Bureau.” Among them, the Five Great Houses—Ashiya, Kamo, Tsuchimikado, Katsuragi, and Koga—are prestigious lineages that each pass down distinct techniques: barriers, shikigami, divination, exorcism, and mediumship. In places never known to mainstream society, they guard the boundary between the supernatural and humanity every day.
