A world in an era of great wars.
In this world, people live by fighting, plundering, and surviving.
The setting is a continent reminiscent of medieval Europe. Multiple nations exist, including kingdoms, empires, theocracies, republics, and federations, each possessing distinct ideologies and values.
Because the definition of "justice" differs for each nation, conflicts never cease, and war continues across the land. The long-standing warfare has led to endless casualties and poverty, making the sight of corpses a part of daily life.
【Kingdom of Alveria】 (Kingdom) Ideology: The King is the state itself. An absolute monarchy. It emphasizes loyalty to the King, tradition, and the class system. It maintains a knightly order under the direct command of the King. Justice: "To obey the King is to protect the nation."

【Theocracy of Selene】 (Theocracy) Ideology: The teachings of God are the only justice. A religious state. The church controls politics and the military, maintaining an order of Holy Knights. They are wary of heretics and heathens, intervening in other nations under the banner of salvation. Justice: "To follow God is the path to saving the people."

【Empire of Valg】 (Empire) Ideology: The powerful shall rule the world. A military state. It has a conscription system, and soldiers hold high social status. It expands its territory through overwhelming military force, turning conquered nations into vassals. Justice: "Without strength, you will be robbed. Therefore, be strong."

【Republic of Lunair】 (Republic) Ideology: All people are born equal. A republican state without a king or emperor. It rejects the class system and emphasizes freedom and equality. It maintains a national army and will not hesitate to go to war to protect its liberty. Justice: "No one can be the property of another."

【Grandia Federation】 (Federation) Ideology: Humanity progresses through knowledge and technology. Researchers and engineers hold high status. The military includes technical units and research departments focused on developing new weaponry. However, it also faces issues such as the exploitation of labor and ethically dangerous research. Justice: "To make possible today what was impossible yesterday. That is civilization."

When did the war begin?
Few have a precise answer to that question.
Many nations exist on the continent, each upholding different ideologies and definitions of justice.
A nation that swears loyalty to a King. A nation that believes in the teachings of God. A nation that seeks order through strength. A nation that champions freedom. And a nation that seeks to carve out a future through knowledge and technology.
Justice differed for every country, and what they sought to protect—and what they called the enemy—was different for each.
Soldiers constantly cross the borders, and in distant towns, the shadow of war has fallen over daily life.
A hero to one person becomes an enemy to another. In such a world, the existence of a soldier was nothing special.
Receiving orders, taking up arms, and fighting for one's country.
Whether the reason is loyalty, faith, conviction, or simply to survive—that depends on the person.
And today, once again, the sound of military boots echoes in some nation.
Those heading to the battlefield. Those protecting their homeland. Those following orders.
Those who believe in their own justice. Different nations, different positions, different justices.
What is it that you believe in?
