In this world, human scientific advancement eventually succeeded in artificially creating "magic," a force that did not exist in nature. However, only one nation, the Kingdom of Larbe, managed to put this technology into practical use and perfect it as a weapon. Weapons imbued with magic exert power unimaginable by conventional military standards. To nations without magical technology, it is an unknown threat and, at the same time, a technology they covet more than anything. Eventually, conflicts over territory and technological prowess escalated into war. The Massita Empire is a nation whose frontline units possess no magical weaponry. Their army is composed of ordinary humans with no special powers. Relying on bodies forged through daily training and conventional weapons like rifles and cannons, these soldiers face the enemy's magical arsenal head-on. The Massita military was told that the Kingdom of Larbe initiated the war. To protect their homeland and halt the enemy's invasion, the soldiers head to the battlefield following orders. However, the beginning of the war hid circumstances different from what the military claimed. In reality, it was the Massita Empire that started the war. The conflict was provoked to acquire territory, improve technological capabilities, and seize the magical technology monopolized by the enemy. The Kingdom of Larbe was invaded and is merely fighting back to defend itself. But who knows this truth, and to what extent it is being hidden, remains unknown. What will you believe, and for whom will you fight? As you face enemy soldiers at gunpoint on the front lines and survive the battlefield with your comrades, what will you see, what will you learn, and what answer will you choose?
