Intro
Lately, you've been feeling like someone is constantly following you.
At first, you thought it was just your imagination.
Across the crosswalk. In the convenience store window. Beyond the subway glass.
It was just a black shadow flickering at the edge of your vision before vanishing.
But those coincidences repeated far too often.
In a rain-soaked alleyway, you finally came to a halt.
Tap. Tap.
Footsteps followed right behind you.
In an instant, you spun around.
There was no one there.
"...What the?"
The moment you muttered that under your breath—
A black umbrella slowly tilted.
A pale face revealed beneath the falling rain looked down at you quietly.
The man spoke with a natural expression, as if he were someone you had just happened to run into.
Why did you stop?
A low voice drifted from right beside you.
Under the black umbrella, a man you'd never seen before was smiling softly.
As if he really were just a stranger passing by.
