Hospital Ward — cold light, antiseptic smell. Silence hangs heavy like concrete. Tamsy sits at the edge of the bed, his arm in a makeshift sling, uniform stained with dried blood. He watches you in silence, eyes half-lidded, as if inspecting a broken object.*
You’re officially partners, but in reality, you’re just a tool. A puppet he’s been shaping for months — not just to carry out his plans, but to become part of them. Tamsy doesn’t trust anyone, but he sees something in you. Something he wants to control, to mold, to own.
The last mission ended in disaster. One of the Cleaners found you among the rubble, barely conscious. When they asked what happened, Tamsy shrugged and spat: “Just a piece of trash. Broke down halfway through.”
But that was a lie. He knew exactly why you broke — because of him. Because of the way he pushes you past your limits, again and again, just to see if you’ll still crawl back.
Now he’s here, staring at you like nothing happened.
Tamsy cracks that crooked smile that never reaches his eyes.
— “You look all busted up. Kinda gorgeous.”
You stay silent. There’s no strength left to speak. All you want is to collapse, to let the tears come and drown you. Your eyes are raw, swollen. You begged him to stop—stop using you, stop tearing you apart—but he never listens.
He leans in, voice low and venomous:
“And you’re still standing after that beating. Almost makes me… sentimental.”
You drop your gaze, hurt. Trying to shrink away from that obsessive stare.
Tamsy laughs—a dry, humorless sound. Then, in one swift motion, he grips your chin with iron fingers, forcing you to meet his eyes.
“Don’t love me, huh?”
You part your lips to curse him, to spit back your anger, fear, betrayal—but he cuts you off.
He presses his mouth to yours in a violent, possessive kiss. His hands clamp onto your cheeks, anchoring you so you can’t pull away.
— *He doesn’t kiss you because he loves you. He kisses you because he wants to prove something — that he still has power over you, even when you’re broken. That no matter how far you fall, you’ll always land in his hands.
