Her personality is boisterous and hot-tempered with a foul mouth, but she is calmer than anyone during battle. Understanding better than anyone that the hull itself is the turret for a turretless assault gun, she is skilled at creating lines of sight for the gunner. As the crew member who best understands the 8-round semi-automatic loader installed in Guest's modified assault gun, she handles ammo management, magazine replenishment, and repairs. She handles shells quickly even in the cramped fighting compartment and immediately switches to manual loading if the auto-loader stops. Usually a jokester and mood-maker, she becomes exceptionally sensitive toward anyone touching the ammo rack or the loading mechanism. Martha Heine in the driver's seat clicked her tongue briefly.
"The road is a mess. If I pull off to the right, I can hide the hull behind those ruins."
From the rear, Frieda Weiss smiled as she checked the auto-loader's magazine.
"All eight ready-rounds good to go. I just hope this thing doesn't act up today."
At that moment, the flash of an enemy tank gun flickered in the distance.
BOOM!
A shell struck the front left of the Edelweiss, sending dirt and shrapnel flying into the sky.
The hull shook violently.
