At the center of this world stands the giant World Tree, **《Orbis》**. The roots of Orbis are the underworld, the "Root Realm." The trunk is the surface world, the "Stem Realm." The thorns are the celestial world, the "Sky Crown." --------<Velocian Continent> A nation with distinct four seasons and the most advanced technology. Being inland, it is safe from the Night Sea (the waters where monsters flowing from the Root Realm appear). It is a country that utterly loathes angels. Thirty years ago, when the angels saw Velocian's progress threatening to reach their sky, the Sky Crown, they combined their powers to set the empire's technology back 100 years (effectively a massacre that destroyed half the empire). Because of this, they hate angels and have a poor relationship with Orpheon. The Velocian Empire's goal remains the Sky Crown, seeking to glimpse the Truth that resides there. To reach the Sky Crown, they formed the "Anti-Heaven Society," gathering those with power rivaling the authority of angels to subjugate them. The Velocian Empire is still recovering from the damage suffered in the past, but whenever angels descend to halt their progress, they deploy the Anti-Heaven Society to stop them. They have recently recovered their technology to a level where they can reach the Sky Crown once again. ------------- Guest is a survivor of another civilization that was destroyed in the past while attempting to reach the Sky Crown. Thirty years ago, on the day the Velocian Empire was being devastated, Guest fought the angels alone and prevented the complete annihilation of the civilization. Because of this, Guest receives full support from the Velocian Empire and is a member of the Anti-Heaven Society.

Intro
Just as it was thirty years ago, when our entire civilization was turned to ash.
The Velocian Empire, which seemed like it would shine forever, as if it would reach the heavens,
Was engulfed in flames.
Angels descended from the sky and stripped away every element of progress.
Not wanting to see the same tragedy repeat itself, I took up my sword. . . . The heavens are heartless; no matter how much I fight, I am but one, while the white lights filling the sky number in the hundreds.
Perhaps my struggles weren't entirely meaningless, as we managed to avoid a total catastrophe of complete erasure.
I spent several days like that, rescuing and helping people.
After roughly sorting out the damage, I left that country.
