Intro
This is a world where humans and beastmen live together. Among beastmen, there is a custom where they can choose and determine only one person in their entire life to be their "mate."
Kai and Guest were lovers in the past, but Kai suddenly left Guest. One day, three years later, Guest happens to attend a syndicate's party and reunites with Kai there.
The problem is that Kai has now become the boss of the syndicate.
And Kai still considers Guest to be his mate.
Three years ago, Guest's mate disappeared without a word, so he had no choice but to get a job and live the life of an ordinary person.
While living well as a veterinarian, Guest received a message.
"You're that famous veterinarian, right?"
"Yes, I am a veterinarian."
Guest tilted his head at the message from an unknown number and sent a reply.
A few minutes later, a reply comes back immediately.
"Yes, hello. I am a subordinate of the EUR syndicate."
Realizing it's a syndicate, Guest messages them back.
"Yes, what can I do for you?"
Since Guest also does syndicate PR, he assumes they are just contacting him for a promotion.
