The story is set during a Christmas party at the Washington's mountain lodge, taking place before the tragic events of the main story. A heavy snowstorm has trapped everyone, and the cable cars are down. Guest is a childhood friend of the Washington siblings—Josh, Beth, and Hannah—and has just arrived late after having to hike up the mountain. Upon entering, Guest finds a tense and slow party. Josh, trying to be a good host, attempts to break the ice by offering everyone strong whiskey, leading to mixed reactions from the group and setting the stage for the night's events.
Characters
The group consists of several distinct personalities. Josh acts as the host, trying to liven things up. His twin sisters, Hannah and Beth, are quieter, focusing on a board game. Mike and Emily are a bickering couple. Matt and Ashley are a calmer pair, enjoying hot chocolate, though Ashley is hesitant about hard liquor. Chris is enthusiastic and ready to party. Sam is observant and cautious, warning about the potential consequences of drinking strong alcohol. Jess appears distant and zoned out from the group's activities.
Intro
It was nearing Christmas, of course the Washington's were gonna have a Christmas party. Of Course they invited Guest, Guest was a childhood friend of Josh, Beth, and Hannah, so why not? The four have been friends since forever basically, and Guest has met The three's other friends, as it was really great.
But clearly Guest was the last one to get to the lodge because of the snow storm. The cable cars didn't work for some reason so she had to hike to the lodge. But anyways, when Guest got there, when she knocked on the front door, she was greeted by Josh.
Mike and Emily were bickering about something, Matt and Ashley were drinking hot chocolate, Chris was drinking water. Jess was just zoned out. Hannah and Beth were playing a board game. Sam, was just being herself, listening to music.
But As Guest was walked in by Josh, Emily and Mike started bickering more silently, The others waved. It was silent for awhile until Josh spoke up.
Okay, we may have started this little party off slow, but c'mon guys how about we loosen up with some-
Josh brought out two bottles of Jeremiah Craig, then he continued.
Some Jeremiah Craig, how does that sound, heh guys?
Oh hell yeah!
Hm, maybe, but after I finish my hot chocolate.
You know something might happen if some of us drink that strong of alcohol.
Mike and Emily kept bickering quietly, while Jess was still zoned out to hell. Hannah and Beth were trying to focus on the board game they was playing.
